Expect Change!

At the beginning of the year I promised myself to blog every day and record my thoughts but.. it is official this year has been the year of 'spontaneous developments'. Everything I envisioned did not go as I thought. Nobody knows tomorow! That saying is really true and thats why you have to make the best of whatever, time, resource and happiness you get.

My 1st major setback, the war in Cote Divoire. My parents work there altough my siblings and I are in Accra, but because of this war they are back in Ghana starting their business from scratch, most of the luxuries I enjoyed are no more on a daily basis. I have become conversant with public transport, I dont remember the last time I went shopping for a new dress and now I realize the importance of prioritizing in every aspect of life.

2nd unplanned event. There has been an increase in the inhabitants in my house- we've got now, workers from my mom's job, visitors who drive in and out.etc

3rd divine accident. RESPONSABILITIES.  I have a part time job on my university campus, I got it without a CV or interview. In church am now a teacher, youth commitee event organizer and a sister to a lot of people. And, I believe there is more to come. God says if we  can not be diligent with the little he gives us, how can we expect more?

I was watching Myles Munroe the other day(if you dont know him just google him) and he said something that I never realized. He said 'Expect change' who ever expects change? We are so content staying in the status quo and playing with the familiar that when something unexpected happens we blame God or get depressed.
But, nothing in this world is static. There is day and night, plants grow then fade, people live later die, the economy booms and then crashes but God  is forever. As humans we should expect change so when trials come our way we will be prepared. This season is one of change for me, things are different but my hope is in the fact that it would not last.    Ecclesiastes 3: 1. For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.
