I am still alive yipee! It's more than 24hrs after the end of the world and I'm blogging. Did something happen and I was left behind or is this an imaginary life? This semester has been hectic for me, I have read more than eight literary classics and one of the strangest one is entitled 'La vida es sueno' where the protagonist is drugged and put in different locations to test his character. In the end he is confused and can not distinguish between reality and illusion. Maybe it is the same case here lol. I think people became obsessed with the Apocalypse in 2006 on the 06/06/06 day. I remember I was in school and had friends who had not slept the night before and had been on the net researching on all types of conspiracy theories. So,that morning assembly was more serious than ever people were seriously praying,others were whispering and I remember our librarian had come with so much printed theories about the end of the world. Truthfully, some of them were very convincing like the calculation of 'http' equaled to '666' and several others. Even, I became infected with the bug I spent hours on the net researching on the 'illuminati' and other conspiracy theories. I learnt a whole lot but sometimes felt scared, nervous and confused.
But, 06/06/06 has gone and now 11/11/11 has passed by and the world is still rotating on its axis. I'm seriously not anticipating the end of the world on 2012! Today is a day after the expected Apocalypse and I'm writing happily because my big brother just graduated. Congrats! Life is still ongoing make the most of it. See you guys next year!!
