Happy birthday Ghana!

Today is Ghana's independence day we are 55 years old that's really old. If Ghana was a woman she would be having menopause, grandchildren and preparing for retirement. But, that is not the case since we are still regarded as a developping nation, our roads are full of giant potholes, lights go off now and then and water is a luxury in villages. According to The World Bank my country is part of the 5 fastest growing ecomies in Africa.  That is great news! On the other hand, I hear everyday on the radio cases of corrupion, poverty and hardship. It is true that foreigners are building huge factories, huge skyscrapers are been built and standard of living is better but we still have a long way to go.
And this blogpost from http://africaphotographer.blogspot.com sums so well my thoughts.
